RGS 5x40 Infrared Monocular OPEN BOX
This is an OPEN BOX listing for our Rogue Sierra (RGS) model of infrared monocular. This means that the product is brand new but the retail box may be damaged.
The Rogue Sierra Infrared Monocular is the very first infrared monocular we ever sold. It is a fantastic infrared monocular and is functionally identical to the newer generation AVP Infrared Monocular which we also sell. It uses the same optic, same censor, and same illuminator.
The only difference between the two products is that the Rogue Sierra model features the ability to output live video via RCA cables. RCA is somewhat of an antiquated connector now belonging to the era of older television sets, VHS/VCR systems, and DVD players. Despite this, most modern televisions can in fact support RCA using a 3-to-1 connector which we include with this product for free. Some companies also sell a RCA-to-HDMI adapter.
