The Pilot Pro 8X Infrared Monocular is the best night vision device that money can buy. It works in complete darkness, can zoom hundreds of meters, and works for hours on a single charge.

This model comes with digital targeting crosshairs that make it easy to hone in on a target from a distance. It also has a suite of media settings that allow the user to record video, take pictures, or stream the feed to any compatible device.

It works using near-infrared technology. Conventional image sensors are optimized primarily for the visible spectrum of light. Near-infrared devices, like the Pilot Pro, are optimized for a wavelength which is just outside of what humans and animals can see.


The infrared illuminator on the front of the device provides the illumination necessary for the device to see the surrounding environment. The sensor captures the reflected light, constructs a monochromatic image, and then delivers it to the 1.5" display.
